O.K., I will try this again. Can anyone please tell me which Module/Socket combination do I utilize to retrieve "Check Engine" fault codes?

Try A6 and then A2 I believe those are ignition and fuel systems respectively. Buy (or borrow) a Haynes manual, it has most of the codes listed in there.
