S70 Windshield Wiper problem S70 2000

Hi all,

Just bought a 2000 S70 with 68K miles on it. The wipers were working and then started to not turn on immediately. Then would all of a sudden start to operate. Now they don't work at all.

I'm hoping it is the wiper relay. Anyone know where this is located. Usually these are inexpensive and easy to try first.

    On my 1998 S70, it was located under the dash, drivers side, next to the firewall. It is tough to get to. It is mounted with several other relays and you may have to remove some of the others before you can get to the wiper relay. The relays are color coded but I don't remember the color for the wiper relay.

      98 pocket data booklet lists the front wiper relay as marked "203", under drivers side dash relay panel. The relays are numbered, and relay base and the socket they plug in to are color matched, so if you have to remove some of the lower relays to get to one on top, just match the relay base to the socket by color to reassemble.
