Disable 'Due for Service' message S60 2003

I have a 2003 Volvo S60. I do my own routine maintenance and want to turn off the "Due for Service" message that is displayed. The Volvo dealer will not tell me how to turn the message off. Can anyone help?

    Should be...turn the key to the number one position, press the odometer reset, when the light begins to flash, turn the key to the number two position.
