oil return leak? S80

got back form the dealership for my frist checkup/service on the car since purchasing my 01 T6

had a few issuses that needed addressing , but didnt fancy paying the 1600 dollars the dealer was quoting me to remedy them

the two most urgent issues are two oil leaks , one on the turbo oil return line
and the other on the oil box (not pan) both are related to the seals being replaced.

wanted to know if this was an ez fix with a mechanic used to dealing with euros could fix. and also are the seals available online , which would save money , buying direct.

the other issues were suspension related

a broken.worn spring seat and worn sway bar link. which is an excuse to upgrade the suspension with ipd sways and konis.

to those ppl who have upgraded their s80 in the suspension department would love some feedback on how the ride has been affected, especially the use of lowering springs.
thanx

I had the same fix on my 99 T6, the parts are 4 gaskets and cost under $10. The problem is the to metal tubes are very hard to get to there in the back of the engine by the turbos. While your at it I would rebuild the turbos. Texas turbos will do both turbos for $550 with shipping. Good Luck.

I "think" there is a TSB about S80 suspension. You may get this fixed for free by the dealer. Of course, I may be wrong on this. You may want to check this before spending $$.
