Rotors V70-XC70 1999

My front brakes have started to vibrate during high speed braking. I have 80k on the rotors and decided to just replace them. I bought bendix replacements and noticed that there are no index pins on them. I can remove the index pins from the old rotors but noticed that none of the holes on the new rotors are threaded. Is there a threaded hole on the originals? Do I really need to have the index pins anyway?

Thanks

the pins dont screw into the rotors, they screw into the hub under the rotor so thats why the holes in the rotrs are not threaded. just reuse the old pins, even genuine rotors dont come with new pins. yes you do need the pins though, they help the rotors sit flat on the hub when wheels are being taken off or put back on, they are also used to align the wheel with the hub if the wheels have been balanced on the vehicle instead of on a tire balancer (as balancing on the car also balances the driveshaft and rotors as a unit).
