Can someone tell me which is the best place to buy Volvo plugs and what price have they seen..

I think F c groton is charging $31.

any other places that sell volvo original plugs..

plugs for normally aspirated: ~$11.00

plugs for turbo: ~$30.00

The good news is you only need them every 30K miles :)


If your price is for turbo application then it is probably in the
ballpark. I'd only use OEM on a turbo, too. See this thread

i got a good idea on the options for the plugs ..can anyone tell me what are the symptoms of a bad plug or misfiring. since i have replaced the plugs with bosch copper..my mileage has gone down..starting is still not a problem..engine is not shaking..but the exhaust system is bubbly and acceleration is down on low rpm....after car heats up..

i think with the gas prices this high for premium..it might be cheaper to use the best plugs for mileage.

I just replaced the plugs on my '95 850 and got the plugs from FCP Groton too and the pack of 5 already gapped were about $13.00 specific for Volvo.

I just did an order with FCP and picked up Bosch platinum plugs for $2.50 each. They're a great source for all sorts of parts.
