'ETS' light just came on. Is that a bad thing $$? C70

The ETS light just came on this morning on my drive to work. I drive a '00 C70 LPT with 61K. I very recently replaced the turbo boost controler. Would the ETS have anything to do with that? Is an ETS problem expensive?
Thanks for any help.

ETS is Electronic Throttel Sensor (your car is a drive by wire -- the
throttle is opened and closed by a remote motor and your gas pedal is
a switch that controls it). Failure is pretty common. Just search on
ETS (below, to the right). I think it is pretty expensive to replace
    (around $1000).

OUCH$$$!!! Great. Another Volvo problem like the ABS unit. Maybe it won't be going out anytime soon.
Thanks for the reply Ray N.

This is my findings so far :

My ETS came on about 4 months ago and got an " internal fault "
diagnosis at the dealer. The car is still running fine.

My ETS lamp goes Off after each restart and usually comes back during drive.

Here is an interesting discovery, when the car is very warm after
a few hours of driving the ETS will Not come back on after restart
        staying off.

So the moral of the story is your ETS problems may depend on what
component[s] have blown on your Electronic Throttle Module.

Can Any techs elaborate on my findings?

        thx
