Volvo part number 6820829. Has anybody installed these on their 850? Would appeciate any feedback. It costs $170 at the dealer. Would like to hear if they are any good before spending money.

I have this blind for several years. My kids don't like it because it doesn't block most of the sunlight just a little bit. My wife said it was a waste of money. I installed it myself according to the instruction. Now, the driver's plastic hooker was broken. I will get a new set from dealer and replace the driver side blind.

Another thing is that when you lower and raise the window with the blind on, the blind will move/slide to one side (either back or forth) of the window. The top of the blind will hit window frame. This is a known tiny problem as most owner just ignore it.

I had them on my 1995 turbo when I purchased it in 2001, the previous owner liked them; however, when I installed tint on my windows, the little window tabs broke and scratch the new tint, so I uninstalled them. I still have them in the shed. IMHO, put tint on the windows; however enough said, I still have a set for the windows, if you are interested, pay a modest, real modest price and shipping and you have won a lucky day, Steve, email is volvo95@cox.net.

My friend has them on his 850 and likes them. I thought about it but for the price decided to tint my windows. The only complaint he has is the view out is a bit fuzzy. Hope this helps.
