catalytic converter S70

I have a s70 in need of a cat. OEM cats run approx $800-$900 and aftermarket cats are approx $200- direct fit replacements. Has anyone had any experiences with these aftermarket cats? Import catalytic converter warehouse and catalyticconverters.net. Any insight would be appreciated! I have to replace o2 sensors and the cat.

I haven't replaced a convertor on my Volvo, but I have used one of the "cheaper" units on a Chevrolet I used to have. The one I bought was around $200 and it was a direct fit replacement for the factory unit. I replaced it and never had a CEL or any problems of any sort with that replacement.

I don't know of any "gotchas" that could happen with installing on the bricks, though.

    Just my $0.02,

I put a direct fit aftermarket cat on my old 740 I got from FCPGroton. Was a perfect fit and I never had any problems with it plus it was waaaaaaaaaaay less $$.
