grinding/binding kinda noise front right when locked and compressed 850 1995

got some noise... when u r turning right into a driveway... when u have the wheels turned right, and when the right front wheel first gets compressed as u enter the driveway.... it makes a grinding/binding kind of noise... cv's maybe?

CV joints are noisy when the booth is torn and the lube runs out and dirt and water make it inside. This type of noise is more noticeable when making a sharp turn and accelerating from a stop.

The noise you describe sounds more like a turn stop worn, missing or in need of lubrication.
Raise the car, turn the wheels all the way to one side and you will see where the steering stops. Right behind (towards the back of the car) the wheel hub.
