850 transmission/ speedometer problem 850

Hi, I put a engine and trans fron a 97 850 non turbo into a 1995, everything worked fine except there is no place to plug the speed o in on the 97 transmission??? Anybody been there before is there a simple way out????

    The 1995 and 1997 speedo sensor are 180 degrees apart. If the 1995 was on the bottom, the 97 is on top, or vice versa. You may need more electrical wiring than the 1995 used.
    Good choice on tranny year.
