Hi,

I am trying to charge my 1995 volvo 850 glt. I got the kit from Walmart and while it's charging, the compressor(I think it's the ac compressor) makes a ticking noise every two second; sometimes, it's ticking at 5 seconds Is this normal?

Yes, it's the compressor turning on and off... the intervals should get longer as your system fills up! It took about 40 minutes to fill up on my car.
