Help please - does anyone know kerb weight of 1997 850 awd (not front wheel drive)

Does anybody know the kerb weight of my 850 awd (not front wheel drive), all i can find is gross weight, hand book says look at registration document but theres no weight stated on new style document.Wanting to buy a caravan - need to know kerb weight so i know how big a caravan i can tow,hand book states 1600kg max but im sure thats heavier than my car and everyone i talk to recommends sticking to 85% of kerb weight.

    The 850 owners manual lists a range of weights, with no explanation of the low and high values. There was also a supplement with the 850 owners manual that was specific to the 850 awd. You should have a copy. If not, it is available from Volvo. I gave my copy to someone who still owns an 850 awd, so I cannot check to see if the curb weight is listed there.

    Just a guess but, since the FWD is about 3400 lbs, figger 3750 - 3800? The AWD couldn't add more than 400lbs, could it?

    Mebbe take it to a truck weigh station and ask for a favor?
