2000 XC CD Changer Cable in cargo area V70-XC70 2000

Where is the factory installed CD Changer cable located in a 2000 XC? I've searched around in the cargo area, and I am unable to locate a cable for the CD Changer. Did the factory really install a cable for the optional changer?

Cheers! Rabbit

I don't think they were installed in ALL cars. Some had it, some did not...

Is there a cable plugged into the head unit? That's a quick way to tell for sure.

I'm guessing it should be behind/under the rear left panels. Probably under the left floor panel... it pulls up with a firm pull.

Fred, have you found this cable in your 2000 V70R? Do you have the factory CD changer installed in the cargo area?

Cheers! Rabbit

No, I don't have the changer.

I don't remember if I actually SAW the cable under there. I was told that's where it "should be" as that rear left location is where the factory changer was intended to be mounted.

I pulled those panels out only once when I was installing my 3rd seat. I only "think" I remember seeing an extra bundle of wires, but I can't recall for sure. Sorry.
