New to wrenching on Sweden's finest V70-XC70 1994

Hi - I'm new here. My wife's '01 V70 XC neeeds pads and rotors all around, and I'm inclined to save a few hundred dollars by doing it myself. I've done this sort of thing before on other cars, so the principles are familiar, but not the specifics. Questions:
1. Is there a shop manual I can buy that's worth the price?
2. Suggestions for where to get quality parts at reasonable prices?
3. Gotchas?
4. Jacking and jack stand points?

Thanks in advance, and thanks for putting up with the square-one questions,
Bob

If you have done brakes on other cars then you will be fine on the Volvo. Do one side at a time so you have the other side to look at if you get lost. The only thing "out of the ordinary" is the 7mm allen for your socket (at least on my 98' S70 anyway).
FCPGroton.com and Eeuroparts.com are great places for parts.
Tip: paint your new rotors around the hub with some high temp paint where the pads DON'T rub. They get ugly quick.
    Good Luck
    Doug
