Trip Meters Reset Themselves V70-XC70

I have had our 2004 Volvo for about a month now. During that time, the trip meters have reset themselves just after the car is started. I can find nothing about this in the owners manual. Is this a computer glitch and if so, how is it fixed?

    hi,
    yes there was a problem with trip meter reset, and this is cured by new dim software which a dealer can do for you under warrenty.

    I am planning to take the car to the dealer to fix this problem, what I want to know, is this a common problem or will I get the "Gee, we've never heard of that before"?

      Simple..............CURED by software at your dealer. V70-XC70

      I know as I just had one of these yesterday. There's a TNN #37-27 titled "Drivers Info Module Software" that explains the details.
      New SW is DL'd into the drivers info module. This is for certain '04 models depending on VIN as described in the TNN.
