Mount St. Helen alternator 850 2002

I have a noisy alternator. The sound is coming from the back plastic cover. Does any one have experience in geting bearings, brushes and other necesary small fparts. Any source for parts breakdowns and parts suppliers. The alternator works fine electrically but is issueing a sounds and feel of imminent Mount St. Helen

Parts for altenators are tough to get. I worked many moons ago for a summer job at a starter/alt rebuilder any many people came in asking just for the parts. They would be out of business if they did since they only replace a few parts(bearings, brushes and regulator) and a quick sandblast. your best bet would be simply get it rebuilt and put it in yourself. Probably have to shell out a $150-$200
