VolAlp 850 1994

Thinking of adding an Alpine 6 disc changer to my radio head.
Do I need both the VolAlp aftermarket cable AND the Alpine cable or
does the VolAlp go directly from the radio to the changer???
Changer is a used Alpine CHM-S600
OEM Radio is the Volvo SC-810.
Tks,
Armie (looking for a cheap VolAlp!)

I have a VolALp I am not using.
When my Alpine changer died, I replaced
it with an indash CD unit so I no longer
need my VolAlp adapter. VolAlp goes
between the head unit and the changer
cable if you mount changer in the trunk.
I know my VolALp works becasue I tested it
on another vehicle and confirmed it was
my alpine changer that had died.
