Where is the transmission dipstick...if there is one? If not how do you check fluid level?

    Look down and to the right of the oil dipstick. The top of it should be yellow....actually the entire stick is yellow in mine. Hope this helps.

      Side question: how often should the transmission fluid be replaced and what's the typical cost from a dealer to replace? Is there a transmission fluid filter?

    There is one. The owners manual says so. Under the air duct behind the radiator, where you cannot reach it.
