Brake shields V70-XC70 2004

Just wondering if any one's used the brake shields to stop excess brake dust on the front rims.

Switching to ceramic brake pads may be a better solution? I wonder sometimes about restricting the air flow to the calipers and of course the "uncool" look of not seeing the rotors. I have the Xenia Alloy Wheels so any shield would detract from their appearance.

I am interested in trying some too. I have heard positives and negatives on them. Do a search on this site and the 850 site and you will see some input. I'll probably try them in a couple of weeks.
