How to Remove Cabin Temp Sensors? 850 1996

I have a 1996 850 with the ECC. I have pulled the protective covers from behind the grab handles, but do not know how to remove the actual sensors and I'm worried I will break something. The Haynes manual is not that clear. Can anyone who has done it shed some light on the procedure for me?

Thanks,

Steve

    Thanks.

It has been a while since I have done this, but I will relay what I remember. You need to remove the grab handles, and then the A-pillar trim that starts at the base of the A-pillar and runs up over the top of the door. Once this is done, you can pull down the headliner far enough to gain access to the temp sensors. I believe they are held in with a couple of the ubiquitous torx screws.
