Price check 850

Hello all-
Well the time is approaching where my volvo and I are going to part ways...Can you help me price it?

The specs. Located in NJ.
1995, 850, 130,000 miles
Alloy wheels
Leather/carpet (in good shape), minor wear on the drivers side carpet
Heated seats, all the airbags, etc
AM/FM/Cassette
No sunroof, non-turbo, no CD player

No accidents

Recent work within past 6 months
All new tires
Front pads and rotors, rear pads
New battery
New (refurbished) ABS pump, the new one was a backbreaker so went with a used one
New headlight bulbs
Just passed NJ inspection

The bad-
Paint on hood is cloudy (might buff out, haven't tried)
Small dings normal on a 10 year old car, but no major dents or scratches
Trim that runs along the roof on driver side is peeling back
I had to totally remove the glove box door, it was stuck but not pressing the light button so it kept killing my battery, since it was removed and the bulb removed no more battery problems, but I never replaced the door itself.

What can I expect to get/What should I ask?
TIA
Adam

Thanks for the advice all....

I guess I need to fix that glove box door. Trust me when I say I tried darn near everything to get that thing to work but when the latch finally froze and I couldn't get it open at all but I'd have to jump my car every other day...I had no choice but to cut the latch and remove the door....

Seems like post clean up, $3500-$4000 is about the range.

thanks again
Adam

Check on Ebay and see what other people are getting for the same year, with similar mileage. Bookmark a few and come back to them after the auction has ended and see what they got.

I would fix the glove box door, definetely. That's an obvious eyesore that anyone who looks at the car will immediately focus on. You might want to give the paint a quick buff, see if it helps. I'm in central NJ, what town are you in?

Is there a way to re-glue the roof trim? I've seen lots of people post with this problem but I've not experienced it myself. I would think you could just glue it back down with some quality silicon, like windshield sealer or form-a-gasket (RTV red, blue, etc.). I use that RTV for everything, it's like duct tape, has multiple unintended uses.

$3800-4500. Make it clean!

If it was turbo you could add $700 more.

Cars cost more in NJ. Fix the glove box. put a piece of velcro on the lid so it pushes the bulb switch and turns off the light. Clean the car! Use some elbo grease on the paint and the wheels. Get the dust off the dash without using ArmourAll - too shiney. Clean the insides of the windows. Look in the paper, kbb.com, etc and see what other people in your area are asking. 130k isn't toooo much, but lots of people ignore cars over 100k.
