Inside cabin temperature sensor location 850

I am having trouble with my heating system and would like to know where the inside cabin temperature sensor is on a 1996 850 GLT.

The heating system runs fine first thing in the morning then doesn't work later in the day.

The two lights on the EEC flash and the fans do not kick in any more.

I believe the interior cabin sensor may be dirty or 'gummed' up as I am a smoker.

Any help would be appreciated

Lex

I wonder what you lungs look like? Stop smoking, you are shortening your driving time.

try the little holes under the grab rail just above the two front doors. I think that it the location.

There are two, one on each side above the doors. Look for the small bezel(about 3/4"square with a hole in center) in the headliner behind the grab handles.

      Thank you for your help.

Wasn't aware there were two. Live and learn.

      Thanks again
