    To replace the knob put the car in neutral with the e-brake on and pull straight up on the knob. Be forewarned it is on real tight.To install the new one just let it fall into place on the lever till it stops and give the top of the knob a good wack down.

        Cannot buy just a new button, you will have to shell out for a new handle. Try junk yards, Ebay, etc. Dealers are expensive.
