S 40 Lighter removal S40-V40 2000

How do you remove the whole lighter/ashtry assemby. Does it have clips opn the sides and then pops out?

    First remove the radio (Double DIN size) Huge one. Take your time !!!!

    second unscrew the the reteaining screws for the ashtray assembly (2) You should see a thin separation plate above the ashtray with two huge holes allowing access to the screws.

    third remove the asembly slowly so you can unplug the wires and connectors

    That's it.
