Ignition switch and electric window problem V70-XC70 1998

My 1998 V70 ignition switch will not go to the lock position. So I have to leave the key in the off position all the time when not running the car.Rest of switch functions normal.

My drivers electric window goes slowly to 3/4 and stops. Retracts normally. Any thoughts to these two problems.

Try pulling up on the manual shift lock override button with a pair of pliers. If the manual override button is slightly depressed, you cannot remove the key from the ignition.

the drivers switch pack is a known problem just recently replaced mine and it pis#%* me off to pay dealer $200can for new one/ it acted up a few times and then just died in open window position of course/ s70 1998
