blower speed control problem, Please Help 850

My '94 850 with manual temp controls will only blow on speed 4, high. This is good because it means the blower motor isn't bad and I can still get circulation. However, I don't know exactly what's wrong, how to fix it or how much it will cost. Its probably just the switch but I'm not sure. Anyone else have this problem? Is it fixable without replacing the enitre module? I have better than average electrical skills and I'm a mechanical engineer so I figure I should be able to fix it. Just haven't had a chance to dig into it yet. Any input is appreciated.
Thanks,
Ben

You're right, the motor is fine. The rehostat is not and is located near the fan. When the server is back up, check the archives - lots of posts there.

Hey the server is back up. I looked around a bit but was unable to find any posts regarding the 850 rheostat. I found a few things about the blower itself though. Have you actually seen anything about the rheostat? Maybe I'm not entering the right search parameters. I never have too much luck with that sort of thing.
      Thanks,
      Ben
