Now what.. 850 1996

This morning when I warm up the car, the orange up arrow suddenly flashing before I even move the car.
Tried shifting the gear shifter back and forth to reset without luck.
I know that there is a code to read, but wondering if anyone has experienced this before?

    PNP switch probably going south.

    Obviously something is wrong with the tranny. Check the fluid level and color, then get the code read.
