Anyone replaced their clutch yet? S70

I have a 1998 S70 T5 with the 5 speed manual, I'm passing 125K miles and now wondering how much replacing the clutch is going to cost when it has to be done. Has anyone had this done yet? How much did you end up paying?

Have hit 140,000 on my 1994 850 manual and haven't replace the clutch yet. knock on wood. Still seems fine right now. Heard its expensive but if you do it make sure you replace rear main seal also.

I'm north of 154,000 miles and no, not YET, although I think it did slip once when I was pulling out of a toll booth a couple of weeks ago.

It's not cheap since the engine and transmission both need to be removed. Figure on the better part of a day's labor from an experenced Volvo tech. I'd have to guess $750-$1200 (US) depending on the going labor rate wherever you are.

It's also suggested to have the main seal replaced while everything is apart.

I don't remember mine costing that much...but I did it at 55K. Hmmmm. Say something about my driving?

I had my clutch and rear main seal done at 110,000 for £333.00 all-in which was a very good price. Clucth was considerably lighter to operate after replacement too.

            labor is about 8.5 hours.
price all depends on the market you live in (example: NYC = $1200, central PA = $800)

I had mine replaced at about 110,000 due to a failed throwout bearing, but otherwise the clutch was good.
