Lately I've been Getting my Check Engine light comming on. I took my Car to Autozone and the Code P1550 keeps comming up. Sometimes it goes away on it's own but sometimes I have to erase the Code. Has anyone ever seen this code before and how does it get fixed.

    go to www.obdii.com, yes obdii.com. big list of info. Code info I have (I have no idea where this came from) is 1550= power steering pressure sensor out of self-test range. Also try google, enter Volvo obdII codes and prepare to
    dive in.

      Volvo Conversion Chart (P1550=ECM-510F)

      Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Information

      ECM-510F VEHICLE SPEED SIGNAL
      DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC) INFORMATION

      Condition
      Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) ECM-510F is stored as a result of an error message is sent to the engine control module (ECM) if a fault in the vehicle speed signal has been detected in the ABS control module.

      Condition
      Misfire diagnostic is switched off.

      Possible source

      * The vehicle speed signal from the ABS is missing or faulty.

      Condition

      * Malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) lit.
