CD stuck in player

Any ideas on how to remove a CD that was swallowed by the player and the player refuses to give it up?

If you have a single in dash player and it will play the CD but not eject it, something broke. Sorry, but your best bet is to unplug the player and get it to a shop where it can be cleaned. If you have children, try to get the scraps of paper out first; peanut butter can not be cleaned out at home.
If it is a 3disk changer, eject the changer, remove the other two disks, put the changer back and try ejecting again.

If you have the radio code what about unplugging from power and replugging?
