Why didn't you tell us that you added some junk to your gas in the very first post?
"it all started when i added fuel injector cleaner to the fuel. Since i have been having problems."

Do you think it is possible that some dirt was dislodged and is now keeping an injector open? You mentioned gas smell, have you driven your tank to empty yet? Has it been at high rpm since you added the injector? The cleaner is designed to be used on a road trip, not to sit on your tank for several weeks and only drive it on Sundays.
You may want to take it to a real mechanic to clean the injectors.

Hey Klaus
The injector cleaner i added was for a road trip, and i used all of the tank. No i dont just drive on sundays, im 25, this is my only car the daily driver. Well i was thinking too that something got loged in the injector but it runs fine 20min down the road. i think it could be the fuel filter full of the junk. Or somthing in the fuel system that lets air in the lines.

Well off with my scarf and driving goggles im off to another sunday ride.. cheerios!!

Do you Brits have air pumps in those great little cars? Sounds like yours is full of water and needs to be drilled out. In the mean time, issue helmets to all of your passengers, they will appreciate it :)

If you have an air pump, US spec cars have them to pump air to the exhaust which helps the cat converter to warm up. It stops when the engine warms up.
There will be a hose coming from the air filter, usually down, and goint to an electrical pump/fan, then another tube going from it to the exhaust.

Your car sound like it is running too rich on startup. Cleaning the throttle body is a good idea.

Your answer sounds very good it does feel like water is in the engine, I turned the car on yesterday and i looked at the exhaust. (because it was a nice sunny day) the car was studdering but no liquid came out of the tail pipe. Really it all started when i added fuel injector cleaner to the fuel. Since i have been having problems. Should i add more to get the rest out??

Lots of help Klaus you the man!!
