wheel bearing problem? S70 1998

I started noticing a burning rubber smell from my right left wheel after driving a number of miles. Also, bad shaking of steering wheel, but intermittant. Now entire steel rim is hot to the touch, and I,m not "coasting" when I decelerate. I,m smart enough to figure it probably is a bearing? Anyone tackle this DYI. I tried to get the wheel off but would not budge. 155,000 miles and I need a few more. Any advice is helpful.
