S60R stick, drive train knock S60 2004

2004 S60R 6 speed: After about 8000 mile vehicle started making noticabe knock when quick accel or decel with engine torque. Does in one direction, then the other, back and forth. Most noticable in 1st or 2nd gear lower speeds or if shifting to reverse then forward. Seems to come from various locations at times(ft, rear, lft, rt) Tech Note describes this condition however after dealer did the recommended retorque no improvement. Does on straight line up and down shift, also around corners. Does not do with braking alone. Temperature here is now cooler and does not do as much when colder - thus harder to find. Anyone else experience this and what is the fix?? Very annoying. Thanks!

I know what you are talking about, but not on my volvo. As we speak, my '03 Audi A4 FWD is getting transmission mounts and bushings replaced under warranty for those symptoms. I could isolate the noise to application/let off of torque, and mine easily came on when reversing up an incline of 10% or greater. it shouldn't be a safety or driveability concern, but they should fix it if you are under warranty and can recreate the driveline noise for them. Also, it might be the subframe bolts are loose-where the body is bolted onto the frame.
