I have the radio with only the cassette. When I pull it out from the dash I noticed that there is a cable connected at the back for a CD changer. I know I don't have a CD changer in my car. Does anyone know what that cable is connected to or where it goes to?

Aperently some cars have the cable installed from the factory for future installation of a changer.

My 94' 850 did not have the cable. If you bought the car used, you might want to take a look through the back of the car, or simply press the CD button. You never know...

I have installed an Alpine six disk changer to mine, and it works exceptionally well. I highly recomend it if you are inclined to listen to CD's.

If you have the CD player, it will be in the trunk of the vehicle.
