Factory CD changer -no power 850

Hello.
I seem to be having trouble with my factory CD changer in my 850. I had to disconnect the battery for something, When I connected it and typed in the code, the radio came on and I did not think anything of it. A few days later, when I tried to eject the cd cartridge, it did not eject. I went to try to play a CD (yes, there is a CD in there), it did not even change over to the CD mode or anything. Any help would be greatly appreciated. ( I searched the site already and did not find any other person with this problem.) Could it be a different fuse???

Thanks,
h

If your radio works but the CD doesn't, try volvospeed's Bay 13 for the radio fix. May be the microswitch. I recently had a similar problem and someone suggested Bay 13 and it worked for me.

Klausc is correct, you may also find that the fuse holder is broken. If that is the case I use the fuse holder from a late model 240 that is next to the battery for power to the fuel pump relay(it is white in color) and the suitable amperage blade fuse and splice it into the wiring.

It has it's own fuse close to the CD changer. Just follow the wires about 1 foot from the box.
