throttle sticking 850 1996

sticks when its below 20 deg. whats the best way to fix this problem. kelly

I would have also sprayed the cable housing with silicone to get the freezing water out of it.

clean the throttle body, BUT DO NOT spray carb cleaner into the TB or you'll kill the TPS sensor.

Rather with the TB in the car, wet a rag with carb cleaner and clean the throttle plate and body specially the throat area where the plate meets the body.

Access the throttle plate by removing the flexible hose covering it and clean the plate and its surrounding area with carb cleaner and a clean rag.
