You're my heroes... I always appreciate the rapid and precise responses I receive here.

I have a squeak in my tailgate door. I'm trying to take the inside panel off, but I can't figure how to get the panel off over the inside lever. Can you give me instruction? I've already snapped a few clips, I assume the volvo parts department will be glad to replace them with gilded clips.

    Hi Red,

    When I did mine, I used a 1" putty knife to "gently" pry off the latch surround, and the panel fell off in my hands after. Mind you, it may not come out too easy, and you may end up having to replace the surround, but that is the only way to get the whole panel off.
