Windshield cleaner release holes on hood 850 1993

Good morning: I just tried to use the windshield cleaner to clean the windshield but no fluid came out (the headlight wiper worked). I just had the car detailed so I suspect that the holes were filled with wax. What is a good way to clear this up? Would a safety pin work?

A safety pin is perfect. Also a good time to realign the spray to where you want it on the windshield. But don't use a lot of force.
