Can't get the radio/cd player out of my car. Help! 850 1997

Tried taking out my Premium rado/CD system so I could repair the bulbs that back light the front of it. I pushed in on the two releases along the edges, they popped out, I stuck my fingers in the two holes and tried pulling the radio out, but it was solid, fast, in the mount. Is there some other release I'm not aware of? Didn't want to get violent, but I did wiggle the pop-out toggles side to side, up and down, pulled very hard, and no success. Which way from here? Dick

The realease tabs near the back of the housing may be stuck a little bit. Try pulling the two plastic things with your index finger and thumbs on the front of the radio. Use your thumbs to push the radio backwards a mm and see if the plastic tabs release.
