Should I buy this 1994 850 sedan? 850 1994

I looked at a Basic 1994 850 sedan yesterday, the only upgrade is leather seats and power windows ,the good news is the mileage :91,395 The following things I are wrong with it: (if i decide to buy it a independant volvo mechanic will inspect it)
A/C blowing warm air (the blue light does not turn on)
Needs two front tires
Cracked front headlight covers
Brakes seem very low
Radio Antenna broken in half
Service light on dash is on
I had to push the button "Shift lock override" to put the car in gear to drive it?
Paint chipping at top of front hood
Interior headliner coming down in front of car
Asking price $3,000
I Think I should offer $1,000
With all the work it needs to bring back in shape,Is this a fair offer.
I live in south Fla.A/C must be fixed,if it is a Evap.& Compressor it could be a $1,000+ repair.
What do you think? Buy or Walk away?
Thank you,any advice from 850 experts would help!!

    Charley,

Don't know what part of Florida you are in, but check out this 95 850 Turbo with 78,457 miles in Pompano Beach. You might be able to contact the seller and end up with a much better car than the 94 you are currently looking at....

    Good luck

    Keep looking 850 1994

Not worth the effort. Yes, you could fix it yourself and save on labor charges, but you won't repaint it. It needs a new pnp switch. The service light is easy to turn off on that year, but owner doesn't bother to have it serviced. Even at $1000, you will need to put $2,000 in parts plus another $1000 in paint for a $3000 car.
Wait for an 850 Turbo to show up. They are usually better maintained,

    Should I buy this 1994 850 sedan?...NO... 850 1994

It is obvious that this car had zero maintainance and an owner who didn't give a $%^&. If these things are wrong, who knows how it was treated. It is a good guess that it was beat most of its life. Stay away.
