I disconnected the battery recently (unnecessarily, as it turned out), and now the clock is reading 24-hour time and Centigrade only. I've tried several times to reset it to 12-hour time and Fahrenheit by following the recommended method of pushing the hour and minute buttons simultaneously once, but it doesn't respond. Am I missing something or is it broken?

    I might add that the car should be running when you press both buttons, at least that's the only way I got my 97-850 to change over.

    you have to press both (at the same time)a few times until you get the mode you want.
