EGR valve cleaning, where is it? S70 1998

I took off the throttle body for a cleaning of it AND the EGR valve in my 98 NA S70. I looked for the EGR valve in back/under the throttle body as per Bay 13 instructions for the 850 but it's not there. Throttle body connects directly to the intake. What's the procedure for cleaning the EGR valve, where is it in 98&up models?

    Hi Ari,

    You probably don't have one. Look at the 8th position of your VIN and use the below guide.

    Emission
    C70, S70, V70 (Engine 52, 53, 55, 56)
    8 = w/o EGR w/o air pump, w/OBDII, w/elec. control evap.
    Motronic 4.4, w/ORVR(55)
    7 = w/o EGR w/air pump, w/OBDII, w/elec. control evap,
    Motronic 4.4, w/RuLo, w/ORVR (53, 55, 56)
    4 = w/o EGR w/air pump, w/OBDII, w/elec. control evap,
    Motronic 4.4 w/RuLo., (52, 53, 55, 56)
    3 = w/o EGR w/o air pump, w/OBDII, w/elec. control evap,
    Motronic 4.4 w/RuLo.(55)
    0 = w/o EGR w/air pump, w/OBDII, w/elec. control evap,
    Motronic 4.4 (56)

    P.S. My 98 V70 does not have an EGR.
