Engine light on and the car started to get rough S70 1998

Right after getting a new tank of premium gas, the car started to get rough specially at idle and low speed. The exhaust started to smell fun as rotten egg. A day after, the engine light came on. Have not done engine diagonstic test yet. What could be the problem? Thanks for any inputs! The car has 127K km on and did 100K tune-up.

First and foremost, did you get Autozone to read the error code? The code is critical to help us know what is wrong.

I had a similar situation. Out of nowwhere I got a really rough idle and rough, stinky performance with engine light on. Turns out the ground wire bolt for the ignition coils had backed out just enough to cause issues. Tightened it up. Runs like a champ. '99 S70, 72k.
