add a turbo to GLT?

I have a 1993 GLT with 102000 miles. I would like to know if I can install a turbo exhaust manifold, turbo, intercooler exhaust and such and run 5 psi boost.
has this been done? I don't hot rod around but want the added power. I know of no other performance options for speed. I did all the handling options already.
thanks

Why would you not want to get a turbo model instead? The cost involved with modifying your current vehicle would be offset by one that is already set up for it?

Just curious?

i have a car in mint condition, heated leather, sunroof, 16 inch rims (4 bolt) great tires, konis, ipd bars, strut bar, new cooling system, timing belt, new motor mounts k&n .
I bought it last summer from a older couple always volvo serviced.I could not pass up the price but now the power is lacking. (big time)
i could sell it but I would rather check my options. an additional 25 ponys would be a big help.

The turbo add-on would not be worth the cost. Sell your car, keep all of the transferable goodies, and look for an 850R or T5. These cars are getting cheaper by the month.
