power steering leak 850

Hi, I'am a foreigner and I live in Europe, so pls. excuse my English. I have a problem with oil leak from the area around the return hose fitting to the fluid reservoir of the power steering. It is dripping down the hose, and from time to time I notice oil drops under the front part of the car /the engine/. It started this winter after several days of severe cold - around - 20C. Needed to add oil about 200 ml. My volvo is 1993 850 GLT, 150 K.
I will be thankful for any suggestions to fix the problem.
From the volvo shop told me that only the hose /togheter with the metal part of it/ costs about 150 usd. Besides they were not sure if the leak is from a damaged hose or from the plastic reservoir at the hose fitting area, and the last, of course, would mean even more expensive repairing.
Thanks in advance.

That hose is attached to the reservoir by a simple clamp, has anyone tried tightening the clamp?

Yes, the clamp is tightened up to the end, but the problem persists.
Thanks.

Well, you may need to replace the reservoir and the rubber grommet underneath it that seals it to the pump. I have never seen one of these leak but I imagine it is entirely possible for it to happen. If the clamp is tight and there are still leakage issues then you will need to pull that reservoir and inspect it. I have pulled them off of pumps that were free of the car but I am not sure that you can do it with it still mounted to the engine.
