squealing brakes 850 1994

I had my front brakes redone early last year at the dealership including replacement of the rotors. A couple of months ago the brake area started to squeal. I bought and replaced the brake pads (The previous pads were still in great shape) and the brake area still squeals. Any suggestions on what to do next? Thanks

Brake pads do not squeal if:

you replace them in tandem with the rotors
you use plenty of anti squeal lube on the backs and on the caliper rails
you break the pads in properly--not doing so will glaze them = squealing

OK, how does one break in the pads "properly?" I have similar squealing, on occasion, from a new set of rotors/pads (rear). Mine is the IPD kit: Zimmermans and PBR pads. About 3 months old.

Breaking in pads: A series of moderate pressure stops. Speed up to about 20 mph, bring car to a stop with moderately strong pressure. Back up to 20, let it run for a short way to cool things off and bring it to a stop again. Do this about 8-10 times. Avoid, if at all possible, hard stops for the next 100 miles. All of this is designed to 'set' the pads and avoid glazing them which causes squeal.

I have the same IPD setup PBR metal masters with Zimmerman rotors. About 15k miles with zero problems. One other thing, be sure that the rotors are carefully cleaned of the protectant film--this will cause pad glazing and squeal

do not ride the brakes....do not allow it to get too hot. did you use ample anti squeal grease? also, pbr pads and zimmermans are not up to par with dan block pads on brembos...imho. i changed mine last fall and all quiet so far.
        regards
