Hi,
just would like to check if there are DIY procedures in replacing the cat converter?

That is about as straight forward as it gets. Just unbolt the darn thing and take it out. If you roll underneath the car and look at it for about 2 seconds it will be quite obvious. If it is rusty and you have the time it always helps to shoot a little penetrating oil on the fasteners and let it set overnight before you take it apart.
