Mysterious Front End Ratlle on my 1995 850 - Ideas?? 850

I have been hearing a loose sorta rattling noise apparently from the front passenger side.

I replaced the sway bar links and the rattle is still there.

It is not a constant noise and is not a clunking sound like when my spring seats broke. It just a slight enough rattle to bother you when driving with the windows down and radio off.

I have checked under hood to see if anything is loose and cannot find a problem.

Suspension is firm, good koni struts.

Possibilities: Strut mounts ? Spring Seats ( doubtfull)?

Check the 2 bolts that attach the A arm to the sub frame. Use a wrench. If they are loose you will get a "clicking/rattle" sound. 15mm and 18mm

How about sway bar bushings or engine mounts. I know I had a rattle that bothered me on 93 and found out the sway bar bushing were worn out. New bushings, no problem. Engine mounts ar possible as well. AT is very close to frame on drivers side. bad mounts can cause a contact point to develop.

Are the pad retaining springs and all shims in place on the brake calipers? Are any of the caliper bolts loose? Also if any work was done requiring removing the plastic splash guards or air dams (timing belt, radiator hoses, control arm, etc.) are the guards intact (not cracked) and were they put back tightly with all their fasteners?

the heat shield was loose on my 94 850T and a lot of other things I realize from 11 years of driving. Nothing serious just that alot of screws that hold body parts get loose over time.
