oil filter price

I worked at a dealer in CT for a few years, and we sold the spin-on oil filters for $6-8. I just went to my local dealer here in Mass, and they wanted $16.00! I couldn't believe it. The cost is only like $5! The dealer is Fathers and Sons, no wonder all the shops in Western Mass went to Mitchells in Simsbury, CT for parts! I'd heard from shops that their prices were too high, but I couldn't belive what they were charging.

Go to fcpgroton.com They have a sale going on right now. With 10 filters (Mann who makes them for Volvo) and 10 aluminum washers with shipping, my bill came to $45.00
